>>"Do you think we will see a bit of a move tomorrow as the people at the meeting buy more Disney stock b/c they like what they see?"<<

It's just a guess, of course, but I would speculate that we will see an upward move tomorrow, unless the overall market goes down, for the reason you suggest. In any event, the shareholders at the annual meeting won't be the only ones who like what they see happening with Disney. In the March 9, 1998 issue of Forbes, columnist Martin Sosnoff says the following:

"Disney looks strong. Its market cap, nearer to $50 billion in mid-1997, seems headed to $100 billion in the next two years. With the digital videodisk, everyone is going to restock his film library. Disney is executing beautifully in its theme parks and just needs to get ABC repositioned."

As I stated in an earlier post, I believe that Disney is undergoing a significant multiple expansion. A multiple expansion is also implicit in Mr. Sosnoff's prediction. If this prediction is true, then those who are betting against this stock will regret sticking to that bet if they do so too long.
