There have been discussions about Apple and their foldable iPhone that MAY contain a Blue Phosphorescence blue emitter. Tandem displays, and a florescence/phosphorescence hybrid among other chemical mixtures have been discussed ALL trying to have the blue phosphorescence material meet specs (whatever that means in terms of CIE and life time).

Now let me add something else to the mix: "The company (Apple) is planning an AI-powered battery management mode for iOS 19, an iPhone software update due in September... The enhancement will analyze how a person uses their device and make adjustments to conserve energy..."

Could battery management play a role in sort of extending the display life of a Blue phosphoresence screen? This is not to say extending the life of the emitter but extending the life of the display because users tend to leave their displays on and not turn them off until the iPhone shuts the display off.

Just a thought about another possible piece in the Blue puzzle.
