Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD) Stock AMZNBy: Brandon Evans, SA News Editor
Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) has inked a multi-year, $10B investment partnership with HUMAIN, a new artificial intelligence enterprise launched in Saudi Arabia, the companies announced today.

The companies plan to deploy 500 megawatts of AI compute capacity in Saudi Arabia over the next five years.

"Our investment with HUMAIN is a significant milestone in advancing global AI infrastructure," said AMD CEO Lisa Su. "Together, we are building a globally significant AI platform that delivers performance, openness and reach at unprecedented levels."

"This is not just another infrastructure play - it's an open invitation to the world's innovators," added HUMAIN CEO Tareq Amin. "We are democratizing AI at the compute level, ensuring that access to advanced AI is limited only by imagination, not by infrastructure."

AMD shares climbed nearly 4% by early afternoon trading on Tuesday.

HUMAIN has been busy courting major U.S. tech companies. Earlier in the day, it announced an investment plan of more than $5B with Amazon Web Services ( AMZN).
