I was/am eagle scout....we could start by rubbing sticks, flint and steel, or one match or also use a magnifying glass, or the center of the old school flash lights, to concentrate the sun....for camping trips..we coated a bundle of stick matches with parafin....could break off one match to start the fire
now, for fun, save toilet roll insides...fold lengthwise, stuff into one...put a string in center, coat with paraffin...easy peasy
ps, had a friend that severely disfigured from starting a brush fire with gasoline....he was a long ways away, but uphill from the pile...unfortunately, the fumes from can drifted down the hill....kabloom |
