I enjoyed the conference a lot.

Panel after panel, really good questions from a pretty sophisticated audience.

Lots of AI subject matter. And lots of political stuff from a variety of angles -- mostly on defunding science around health care. More than a few presenters were discouraged about their ability to get grants. And a tomn on how they see AI making a difference in the labs. Especially in the realm of figuring out what won't work or understanding potential side effects early in the evaluation process.

Some discussion on Medicare and possible fraud in the Advantage program related to UNH (seems they have a lot more diagnosis on their end than everyone else, which means greater payments). That was the presentation I mostly napped thru. Also on AI use in claims denials.

The terms 'trust' and 'transparency' came up a ton.

A former Trump-appointed FDA head was none-to-thrilled with the current people in charge.

A session on dealing with legal liabilities related to AI. The VCs were smart and talked in a language all their own. I understand that language, but its never fun to listen to it.

Addressing primary care with a potential shortage of physicians was an interesting topic. The guy who tried to put WalMart into to clinic business discussed that.

This was the agenda, it appeared it would be available on video.
