Ordering 2026 Corvette

As for the 2026 model year, the first ordering for the car will begin on June 26th and production will start on Monday, August 4th.

GM confirms this August 4th

The start of regular production (SORP) for the 2026 Corvette was originally set to kick off on June 2nd, 2025. However, that date has since been revised to August 4th, 2025. As with all production schedules, these dates remain subject to change.

Will Corvette orders show up in Q2 or Q3?

Not sure how production date affects timing of royalties so I guess Q2 is possible since it won't take much to have a profitable quarter and last year Q2 was significantly higher than Q1. But Q4 2024 is a cautionary tale because it was substantially lower. Is that solely because not a lot of royalites are paid in that quarter? and will that consistently be the case for auto revenues?

  • Full Year 2024: Royalty income increased by 47% to $1,335,531 compared to $909,598 in 2023.
  • Q1 2024: Revenue was US$313.4k, a 26% increase from Q1 2023.
  • Q2 2024: Revenue reached US$489.6k, up 165% from Q2 2023.
  • Q3 2024: Revenue was US$354.4k, representing a 116% increase compared to Q3 2023.
  • Q4 2024: While full Q4 revenue isn't explicitly stated, it can be deduced that it was lower than Q3, with the company reporting a significant decrease in automotive production impacting revenue during this quarter.

So we would need to average approximately 800K per quarter = 3.2M to break even.

Q1 Income was 560K without Corvette or major architectural retrofits, which Joe indicated have a faster time frame as to when income is received. Of course there's also the Asian car.

Q2 would need to be 800K+. to break even. That would be 165% greater than Q2 2024

If Q1 and Q2 equal 1.36M+

Then Q3 and Q4 together would need to be 1.8M +

So I believe that Q2 could be significantly higher than Q2 2024, I believe that Q3 could be our first cash positive quarter and hopefully we'll see a much stronger Q4 to be profitable for 2025.
