Since I own DCTC as well as FTEL, I always ask about the
DCTC/FTEL relationship every time I call Franklin. My
understanding is that a new deal or contract has been signed
or is in the process of being signed. I cannot speak of the
terms. I have always been told that Frank and Joe are
working closely together on ALL fronts, and that Franklin
intends to keep working with DCTC -- the relationship is
still STRONG. Franklin is also cognizant of the fact that
many Franklin shareholders also own DCTC, and they take this
fact into account as well. Bottom line - I always get the
same answer: There is a lot of mutual respect between
Mr Murphy and Mr. Peters, they intend to keep working
together, and they expect that DCTC will be the partner in
FNET. Also, from my understanding, much of the current
negotiations regarding financing has been brought to the
table as a result of DCI. At this point, I think it is safe
to assume that the relationship remains strong.
