I always love your facts and your passion, roto! I hope your ticker is still strong, and I hope your internet access is fast and without a Great Firewall. Today I was looking over a list of best selling books of the 1970's, and one of them was "Working" by Studs Terkel, and it made me think of you! I remember seeing "The Joy of Sex" on a coffee table in the early 80's at a place I was crashing at during winter break. That was on the list as well. What a couple of weeks that was! A woman (Awesome Anne) I did business with daily got me tickets to a big football game. When I visited her while I was on break to collect on a bet, I made her drink an 8-oz glass of Bacardi 151 to pay off the bet. She had to go home early from work that day. For some reason, she drove home. Later that week, I met her, and we went out, and I almost crashed her VW Beetle at a gas station. We were finishing off the 151, and I was so trashed I ended up sleeping it off on the beach at Venice Beach the next day after crashing on her couch that night (she called her mom up that morning and said, "I got drunk again, mom.") Wow.
