FMC: the stock has experienced a brutal bear market over the past 6 months where the stock was cut in half. We will never know in retrospect, but the odds are high that the Bear ended in early April of this year. Keep in mind that when a stock gets cuts in half, sentiment will remain negative for quite a bit of time until the stock recovers substantially.

I see a series of higher lows and a very positive recent earnings report, along with strong insider buying that surfaced in the $35-$37 area.

There are, of course, no guarantees, but I would rather place my money in a stock that is yielding 5.85% and selling at 12.4 forward earnings than a bloated tech stock with little to no dividend and selling at over 30 times earnings.

But that's me.

FMC's bear has created opportunity.

Darkness provides the basis of light.
