What a strange day we are having in BC! We are going through a one day extreme heat wave with temperatures across much of the province anywhere between 5C and 12C above normal.

The good news is that we will cool markedly tomorrow when a system comes through, but unfortunately it is forecast to not deliver much rain but plenty of lightning. We are down to about 40 active wildfires in BC today, but it could be much higher in a few days given how much of the province is still in drought conditions.
