7 years ago insurance actuaries were looking into exclusions for a Grand Solar Minimum 695.
I'm surprised it took them this long to "account" for the weakening magnetosphere.
The Spain/Portugal/France outage certainly came after they began actuarializing for space weather and with that as a confirmation, exclusions for it will likely become the standard. A serious regional event would be uninsurable. Data centers will be disappointed.
