Alan, thanks for the post and information. I had rejected Vanguard because it has a 1% redemption fee if dumped in less than 12 months. I expect to trade the fund. I'm happy to see they concur with my American Century pick (BGEIX, used to be Benham Global Gold). I want to stay away from single gold companies with my IRA because of potential risk investing in just a couple of gold company stocks and I'm surprised that Homestake or Glamis isn't on that list since they don't hedge.
