China has been around longer than the Hebrew tribes, and it's had to do it without their god promising them real estate or Yankee weaponry. But, yes, Tib**ans, Uy**urs, and the like are just occupants to be removed or assimilated. The 50,000+ is just 2-3%; there's plenty left who will remember. This is the mother of all nakbas. As for "genocide," that's probably the most overworked word since "terrorist." I no longer know what either means. There are similar events in Sudan, Myanmar, Congo, etc., but there's a lack of journalists, most people couldn't find them on a map, and they have no particular place in the mythosof anyone in power.
