The announcement concerning the Bumi laws is welcome indeed,. It is a most inequitable law though I have heard sound arguments that it served a purpose.

I think the real reason is that Malaysia realizes they can't go it alone and must attract foreign investment again. Then they woke up and realized that their own local Chinese sits on vast fortunes hat could be attracted into the market as well. They need their money Bernie.

Very interesting story about watching a "play" and also scary as hell.
