Faces of the Forest by David Lanz and Paul Speer is a standout track from their 1988 collaborative album Natural States, which blends New Age piano with ambient rock textures. I gave it another listen today — it still holds up. The piano and guitar create this calm, layered atmosphere that really captures the feeling of being alone in a beautiful forest. Subtle, but powerful. In my opinion, the video attached doesn't do the song justice but the recording is good. Faces of the Forest Pt1 David Lanz and Paul Speer
