I'm rotating out of my "Dividend Champions", Preferred Stocks, and even some mutual funds that have been under-performing the last six months or even longer.

I bought them all years ago, and there are some I probably should have sold sooner.

With CD rates in the 4.3% range, I'm setting up a 3/6/9/12 month rotation, which I will then roll over when they mature, assuming the interest rate stays 4% +.

I also paid off my margin loans, which had been in the 2% range when I incurred them, but had recently grown to 6.5% (at Schwab).

I like the idea of locking in a known rate and not worrying about the stock market, at least for the CD portion of my portfolio.

If anyone else here has a fixed rate strategy that works, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
