If you are talking large $ I'd go with Treasuries for pricing and liquidity. Don't think the trade-off between getting slightly higher yields in CDs is worth it.

I especially don't see any reason to lock up an investment in sovereign/bank loans for more than 3 months (at least not at prevailing rates) given the speed of our printing machine and ever increasing debt.

Personally, I utilize BTC for a significant portion of my "cash" assets.
