Negotiations with Iran: it has become increasingly difficult to make any sense of what Trump is doing:
It's easy. Remember two things:

1) Trump is a narcissist who lives in a bubble of alternate reality. He will do ANYTHING to maintain that bubble.

2) TACO - Trump Always Chickens Out

With regard to Iran, Trump once again finds that dealing with Iran is hard. But the Iran problem isn't going to go away on its own.

So what is Trump trying to do? Appease Iran like Obama did, then walk away declaring "victory."

That's exactly what Trump did with the Houthi camel-fukkers after a month's worth of bombing and little to show for it. Trump made a ceasefire deal with the camel-fukkers, then declared "victory" over them.
