"What a cesspool of pollution it is."

maybe a Shenyang odd day.. IQ Air has us 'green'. tomorrow, back to 'yellow'. this city is what we would call a Northern Rustbelt city.

on my usual daily & very boring walkabout.. a slough of the Hunhe River. there's a coalfire power plant just to the West. the thing about China, at least thisaway,
there are a lot of parks/ greenbelts, especially along this city's watersheds, but little sign of wildlife.
the parks are heavily peopled on evenings & especially weekends, well into the evening hours... something people in a few of the large cities in the States do not do.

yet to the South, maybe 25km or so, I saw dragonflies everywhere. so, I'm thinking a "Chinawakeup" maybe in regards to the environment.
