Yep "Claw," it's never easy it seems! You have to weigh decisions on taxes, in addition to jumping a Medicare income bracket! Then there's possibly an add'l $4k senior exemption for 3 yrs, subject to income limitations! Not to mention taking early IRA distributions to lessen future RMD's, while making sure not to jump a federal tax bracket! Add in future expectations on interest rates & stock market returns!

Thankfully, Solver in Excel makes "scenarios" somewhat easier to handle!
