not wanting to leave a complicated mess when you go changes perspective. I agree, but individual stocks aren't that complex. You may have 15 years to go (maybe more)! Buy some SIMO. Buy some FBTC (Bitcoin ETF). Heck, but some GENK (expanding Korean BBQ chain of restaurants!). Might as well try to take a bit of advantage of the cost basis step up tax benefit.
