I originally thought that Musk asked Trump have the guy fired since he disagreed with Musk about going to Mars. He thought the moon was more important.

Maybe my post is fakenews and Musk really wanted the guy removed since he was not on board for Mars.
In DC, who knows what is fake or true anymore.
