The Jan 6 rioters were protesting against injustice. Every branch of the justice system (local courts, federal courts, Congress, DOJ, media) refused to examine the very obvious signs of election fraud.

The June 7 rioters are protesting against justice. People who have indisputably broken immigration law are being given their due process and deported.
