I find jazzlovers question rather reasonable.

Currently 2/3's of all fires here in AB are human caused. I question why you lash out at jazzlover over this?

This nasty fire was in an ATV sanctioned area but in hindsight restrictions should have been in place.
The list goes on and on every year.

Hey. Its a shitty deal all around. Everyone knows that a low snowpack, a dry windy spring brings increased fire risk.
Compound this with piss poor forest management since the west was settled and you have a recipe for fire and smoke.
Smokey The Bear was a fraud. Let these fires buck and be done with it. The boreal forest needs fire, time to pay the piper man.

The question is why do you have to massage these conditions that have occurred many times in history into these negative existential events every year? There is something every season that gets you up in arms.
