I didn't lash out at him at all. I merely explained how his post will be used by climate change deniers as fuel for their dangerous and mistaken ideological beliefs when whether the fires were started by arson or not is irrelevant to that question.

When a fire is bearing down on your house, when you are choking on smoke, when you are forced to cut and run to save your life because of conditions like drought, high winds, and heat waves engendered by climate change, who cares what started the fire? The key issue is the conditions that made the fire become so dangerous.

Moe's comments were classic distraction. "Look over here while I pick your pocket..." Meanwhile he and the Alberta premier are pushing an ideology that will maximize the effects of climate change Shameful!

And again you distort reality. We are dealing with conditions created by humans that have NOT occurred in recent history because there were not enough GHGs in the atmosphere to trap the energy that creates those conditions. Sure, if you go back far enough you can find analogues, but they were not human-created Like what we are dealing with now.

Needless to say, as a committed ideologue you would rather deny science and reject the scientific method outrightthan admit that the science is correct.
