Alarming Donald Trump health fears surge as 'catheter' spotted during White House event

Donald Trump went viral once again on Tuesday after hawkeyed critics spotted an odd flare in his pant leg as he stood in the White House's Rose Garden.

Rumors have flown about what the strange bulge could be, with the latest chatter indicating that it could be a catheter. The pictures show a strange, snaky lump just below his left knee.

"Appears Trump is wearing a catheter," one X user wrote, quote retweeting a post showing the pictures of Trump's leg that went viral late Monday night. The pictures appear to have been taken sometime on Monday.

"What’s going on here?" the original tweet reads, showing four pictures of Trump's backside, with each zooming closer and closer to the strange bulge. It garnered over 17,000 likes. It comes just days after a strange shape was spotted on his leg at a UFC event.

"Foley catheter. Urinary incontinence is a symptom of late stage Prefrontal Temporal Dementia," another user commented under the pictures.

Several other users attached pictures of a Foley catheter as they said the same thing. Some had diagrams of how the catheter is attached to the leg.

Some even speculated that he could, in fact, be using a brace, but added that the pictures that were shared appeared to clearly show a catheter instead.

"It’s long been suspected he’s had one or more brain events—if that’s the case, the brace is likely for drop foot," one wrote, adding: "He’s clearly wearing a catheter in the photo below, which also tracks, since bladder control often becomes unpredictable after neurological damage. Which would explain the fascination with Hannibal Lecter, the asylum rhetoric, and a slew of other bizarre behavior."

Others noted that the president appeared to be wearing a catheter when he attended the UFC championship fight in New Jersey over the weekend.

"Trump is absolutely wearing a Foley catheter. It’s a tube inserted into the bladder to drain urine into a bag strapped to the leg. That line down his pants? Not a crease. It’s tubing. Every step he takes sounds like the sloshing of a warm Capri Sun," one user wrote, attaching a picture.

"Leg braces. And it appeared as though he had a catheter in as well," yet another wrote. What is actually on the president's leg — including whether or not it's just a strange fold in his pants — remains unclear. "Wrinkles in his pants? Drrrr," one said. Another agreed, writing: "Wrinkles in the suite? Who tf cares?"

Trump's physician, Captain Sean Barbabella, gave him a clean bill of health during his first annual physical, and there was no mention of a catheter or any other sort of medical device, including leg braces.

He was described as being in "excellent cognitive and physical health" back in April after a nearly five-hour physical at Walter Reed in Bethesda, Maryland, that included blood tests, a cardiac examination and ultrasounds. Doctors also tested his mental status, nerves, motor and sensory functions and reflexes as he completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA). He scored a 30 out of 30, Dr. Barbabella said.

Trump returned to the White House on Monday after spending the weekend at Camp David in Maryland. The viral photos were taken as he went out to oversee a construction project currently taking place on the lawn.

As he spoke to the construction workers, his legs were positioned at odd angles. He stood on a wooden board that had been placed on the lawn.
