How much are you willing to lose, percent wise, per trade? I know people on SI who will only tolerate 1-3% loss. Stocks go up/down that much after you sneeze. I don't see how you can make good money given that low risk tolerance. Vix, of course, plays a big factor. The higher the VIX, the greater one's risk tolerance should be.
