Interesting take. Since you’re so confident in dismissing Ayn Rand as a “simpleton” and her ideas as “formulaic crap,” I’m curious, what exactly are your credentials and accomplishments? Ayn Rand emigrated from Soviet Russia, wrote bestsellers in a foreign language, and became one of the most influential thinkers in American intellectual history, all while being a woman, a Jew, and an immigrant during a time when none of those things made success easy. So, what exactly have you contributed to philosophy, literature, or culture that gives you the authority to laugh her off so casually?
