Yes, but it is ultimately up to the Iranians to liberate themselves; they need to rise up and storm the capital and behead Khomeini and the clerical regime and then assume power. Israel can only provide the conditions for the Iranians to take control of their destiny - even if Israel eliminates Khameini, the void remaining must be fought amongst Iranians; otherwise another Khomeini clone will assume power.
