I mentioned earlier that some analysts are pessimistic about the Holiday shopping season> And there was one story on Friday that I believe was in the WSJ that gave a pessimistic outlook for apparrel retailers. Claire's deals in Womens' Fashion Acessories, like rings, necklaces, hats, sunglasses, and a whole lot of other stuff thats affordable and you can buy on an impulse without emptying your wallet. And judging buy the numbers Claire's has been posting, they have not been affected by the sluggishness in consumer demand that has plagued other stores. I think that WSJ story on friday may have been one of the reasons, if not the main reason Claires touched the high teens. But it really had nothing to do with Claires, and investors realized that, with the stock finishing the day over 20 dollars a share. But lets see what this week brings. Good luck.
