How about Epsom salt?

I need something that won't create residue in the electrolyte jug, something that doesn't taste nasty in combination with the other dissolving powders (salt, baking soda, potassium), and something that doesn't create any harsh side-effects. Ideally I'd like it to be mag threonate (because it crosses the blood-brain barrier) or mag glycinate.
