Nice analysis, Elroy. I paid a bit of attention to your comments about SIMO for many years without becoming interested enough to buy. But I've also read and appreciated your crisp diagnoses of other companies on at least the value board and maybe a couple others. Like you, I would love to hear the negative spin on SIMO now that I've purchased in the $50's, $40's, and now $60's.

I suppose the only other question you may be able to shine some light on is the character of the people presenting results/predictions. Do they tend to be people who is try to support or increase the stock price, or straight shooters who simply try to tell the investors their view of prospects. And then, have they tended to accurately predict future events for the company in the past?

At the moment they certainly sound positive and aggressive, but is that just habit? Clearly the stock has not done all that well over the many years you have pointed to it though the mangled buy out offer surely distorted results for a few years.

My ownership of a few lots is not as large as I'd like, but gets me up to just under 1% of my portfolio and if I felt more confident would entertain purchases to 10% but with my age limiting the time for meaningful results, my strategy has mostly been moving to cash. SIMO is probably my last major effort to pick off a quick last minute gain for beneficiaries. And I like to fall in love with companies despite warnings against that habit.

Thanks.
