Gann

No, my method of trading is completely different than Gann. Primarily I look for repeating patterns in the market and try to "identify" where turns are likely to be at given times (not prices) during the day.

So, for example, if I decided everything lined up well to sell the S&P futures around 10:00 I would just sell 'em. Without regard to whether they were at 1000 or 1050. Makes no difference.

Those remarks in the center of my earlier post were not from me, that was the general content of an e-mail I received.

(The part about >What type of Gann analysis do you want?<
>Do you know astrology?<)

The writer is an astro-trader in Florida; his name is Norman Winski. I believe he has a newsletter and he also teaches on the subject. My wife is an astrologer and she happens to know him. He thinks it's queer that I have access to an astrologer but don't trade that way. I find it's better to KISS than confuse the issue.

Anyway, if you wish to pursue a deep conversation on Gann Analysis I can forward Winski's e-mail to you. He is pretty skilled at it, I think.
