It only took a bit over a year but the U.S. Treasury's new plan is to back stablecoins. It will "drive demand from private sector for US Treasuries, which back stablecoins".

The signs were there when we discussed this, of course I am a bit surprised how deep it has gone. Coinbase just sponsored the recent military parade.



So I stand by my original thesis that it will not go to zero.
