Whereas Israel stands to gain from an immense peace dividend if regime change takes place in Iran, the US does not benefit as much. It is true that the Jihad nation despises the US and wants nothing more to destroy it so regime change benefits the USA too from a national security standpoint. Plus, US business will have full access to another market once regime change takes place.

One of the biggest differences between the two stock markets is that the US market is trading at more than twice the multiple of the Israeli stock market.

Moreover, foreign flows into US markets have been taking a hit as a result of Trump's tariff stance. The Israeli stock market is by in large a local exchange with very modest foreign inflows. Given the peace dividend that would result from regime change, these foreign inflows would increase.

Israel has rallied around Netanyahu since the war has started. In the US, there are mixed feelings about entering another Mideast war. Trump campaigned on no new wars and part of the base wants no active involvement against Iran. On the other hand, it is well known that Iran has tried to assassinate Trump a couple of times and Trump has to be feeling personal revenge.

The USA has a long history of isolationism and Trump has got to be thinking how long this war against Iran will last once it starts. .

One last thing: once the US joins Israel, which appears likely, the USA needs to step up the attack until regime change or total surrender comes from Iran.

The bottom line is that both countries benefit from regime change in Iran, but Israel benefits more
