Record Low Border Crossings Under Trump
Article 3, Section 3 of the Constitution defines treason as “levying war” against the United States or “adhering to [the] enemies [of the United States], giving them aid and comfort”, and that is precisely what is happening to our once great nation. The past administration’s actions were clearly treason against the American public.
This historic feat is confirmation that current border policies are effective. The tap has been turned off, but the US must now empty the basin. Over 200,000 people have been reported since Trump took office, but millions of people still hiding out throughout the nation.
The federal government spent $45 billion on new detention facilities and $14 billion on transportation and removal operations. Homan’s aim is to remove 1 million undocumented persons per year. This is a small price to pay in comparison to what the federal government was spending on migrant housing, health care, pre-paid cards, cell phones, and the list goes on. National security and rising crime aside, those fighting to keep trespassers in the US fail to realize how much the American taxpayer has spent on open border policies.
“Under the leadership of this administration, CBP has received historic support, resulting in another 93 percent decrease in illegal crossings along the southwest border this month compared with last year,” Pete Flores, Acting Commissioner of CBP, said. “Border numbers continue to trend at historic lows, reinforcing the sustained success of our enforcement efforts in securing the homeland and protecting American communities.”
