Skeeter, Larry, at one point I had a position that was up 1900% with MU, and I took a profit at about 900%. Didn't trade during the period because I was working too much and didn't trust my judgement. With options, though, I don't really think this means a whole hell of a lot; I don't put a lot of money into the put portfolio, and before I was up 1900% I was down 80%. By the end of the year, I was up a over 100% compared to the beginning of the year and I'm now down a bit from there. Most of my money is in cash, somewhere else(my mattress). Larry, I was sure we'd have a bounce, but didn't think we'd have this much of a bounce. TA doesn't predict analyst touting, and neither does FA. FA doesn't incorporate the reflexive nature of stock prices: ie the fact that having an expensive stock can eventually lead to fundamental improvements, which crucifies many bears(including me) and doesn't factor in corruption w/in companies or brokerage houses; in theory FA should work. how about technofundamental analysis? |
