Gambling can be an investment....a defintion of investing can be construed as "giving money to something or someone for in hopes of a return on that investment" You drop a $5 chip into a slot hoping to make a return right? You buy ASND hoping to make a return(profit) right? Granted that gambling is instantaneous investing...You either win back or lose everything instantly. You can sit with a bad hand for 6 months like you can with a stock. And research is of course limited to non existant..but you can still argue gambling being a wildcard form of investing
