The recent acquisition announcement by CGI for Bell Sygma does not include all the assets of the Bell Sygma unit. Bell Sygma will remain as a shell and retain the ownership stake in Cognicase. This does not mean that CGI will be making additional use of the COGNICASE tool. CGI stopped using COGNICASE when COGIF partnered with DMR, a competitor of CGI.
