OEM sales became a smaller part of MRV's networking business over the past quarter. I believe it was stated on the conference call that sales to OEMs now make up only 10% of MRV's overall networking sales. I believe this is down from 20% last quarter. Thus, sales of products with the NBase name have been increasing relative to those with OEM names. My impression is that this trend will continue based on: 1) my presumption that most of the products sold in Europe carry the NBase name and sales in Europe continue to be strong 2) Xyplex's sales channels are now being tapped to expand MRV's domestic sales and presumably these products will carry the NBase name.

Intel was mentioned at only one point during the call, I believe, regarding pricing on a particular switching product. The question was raised whether MRV had an analogous product that was competitively priced. The answer, I believe was that MRV's analogous product was slightly higher in price (from memory, something like $150 per port vs $130 per port)but that the additional functionality provided with MRV's product far outweighed the additional cost.
