ratan: Using 30 minute charts won't work for bollinger bands. The system I use is based on the end of the day. With the bands set at parameters that work for me. This is not meant to be a day trading system, although some day trades are generated. I think my last trip with PAIR lasted about 6 trading hours and netted 3 points. Someone on the thread that was in on the trade with me may want to confirm if anyone cares. I am usually pretty forthcoming when I'm making a trade. One thing I do is to guestimate where the bands will close, near the end of the day and where they will be tomorrow morning after my system cycles through all available data in the market. I am able to sell based on where the bands will probably be the next day, getting me out or in before the stock has a chance to move against me. R..
