I’m going to give it a little more time. I thought that’s where we were at around 55, then 40, then 20. There is a bottom. But with the damage that has been done, there likely has to be some repair work at these levels.
And then there’s the external market. The pause on tariff hikes is expiring soon. Everyone thinks it will be a TACO trade, but I wouldn’t count on it. If the broad market takes a steep leg down, either because of new tariffs, or ballooning national debt, or simply an overvalued market driven by the MAAG7, it will inhibit all the “risk” trades.
