Shocking that this news was out for a week, but the market didn't react until today.

I've been interested in SCOC for years, but I've held back -- much as I love to use Unix, the combination of competition from other Unix vendors and Microsquish's NT scared me too much. This announcement is almost enough to make me feel less nervous about investing. I'll run some numbers and wait for the hoopla to die down.

Any insight into whether the dreaded NT blob will envelop us all?
