Different TA techniques work differently on different stocks. It is my theory that some one form of TA will work on PAIR, while another will need to be used on MSFT. The reason IMO is that the different people trading these stocks are all, by and large, using a particular type of TA on THAT issue.
By finding the right TA match, you have given yourself the keys to trading the stock more effectively. None of these analysis seem to work ALWAYS but many seem to work quite often, when the right one is found. Back testing these systems is tedious work at best, but generally worth the work.
