SHATTERED GREEN DREAMS
One of the worst things about wind and solar energy is that they are terrible for the environment. The principal reason for this is that, apart from being intermittent, they are low-intensity. This means that even when they do produce electricity, it is in ridiculously small amounts. As a result, it takes an enormous number of wind turbines and solar panels to generate a perceptible amount of electricity, and that, in turn, requires vast quantities of natural resources and a great deal of land.

All of this is spelled out in Sarah Montalbano’s report, Shattered Green Dreams. Last night, I was on the U.S. Report with James Morrow on Sky News Australia. We talked about “Shattered Green Dreams,” as well as Alligator Alcatraz and the Fed. Here is the portion of my segment that they posted on YouTube:

I hope James followed through on his pledge to send our report to the Prime Minister of Australia! Sadly, Australia has been at least as misguided on energy issues as we have been here in the U.S.
