Carney prefers to manage by crisis. I have no doubt he will see no trade deal with the USA as an opportunity to hasten Canada's transition from a market economy to what he calls a net zero "social economy". Loss of jobs in the steel, aluminum and auto sectors will only be the beginning of Carney's plan fo transform Canada into a green dystopian hell.
