Me too - sorry to intrude - but every once in a while I feel an observation is relative.
I happen to be a "Vulture Investor"; the system has worked quite well for me... and some day soon I may actually finish the book on it. But SYSF has been one of those stocks that reminds me no matter how good my system is, there is an unknown factor to both people and fate which no one has a crystal ball to. It is in these moments of enlightenment, that I must remind myself of what I now remind you, and everyone else who asks the question "...how much money will [any] deal bring to [any company]?
ANSWER: IT DOESN'T MATTER!
I've watch SYSF bring in deal after deal, while the stock flushed even lower down the bowl, somewhere under all the Charmin. Their latest revelations on "new deals" didn't make any difference.
I've watched SYSF show nothing for weeks... then saw 1.5M shares trade, only because "the money" in the market was moving from one side stream of money managers to another "side stream."
And if you haven't got lost, bored or frustrated with my metaphors yet, here's the point:
SYSF and the thousands like it (micro-cap hopefuls] is the perfect embodiment of "players" that have a niche which few investors understand, so it falls victim to the bottom liners who unfortunately make up the preponderance of today's investors: "short term" profiteers who's only yardstick to success is measured by the earnings from one quarterly report to the next. If you fit that description, pick up IBM and log on once a week to see what's happening. Otherwise, look at who else the main players who compete AGAINST SYSF products are, smile, then sit tight... and realize all the time that this roller coaster has only been the propulsion of hit-and-run 3 month foresighters who wouldn't know a memory chip from a bit of a bite.
QUIT worrying! It's 12 dollar stock on its worst day. Why? Because there ain't no other players!
