You are correct that a lot of people were mistaken in thinking that the rebate reserve was for the purpose of "not blowing away estimates", but rather a correct and prudent accounting procedure. I thought it strange that people latched on to that particular aspect of the balance sheet. Now, the huge set aside for R&D was a different story...completely optional... Barb
