Hi JC-- I'm not exactly sure what your post asked, but I think the ones to ask would be the MEO crew! :) -I believe I get your point-- if kimberlite is confirmed, I'm sure they would check-sum that with their other indicators/ measures and go after more of the same.
In terms of what's going on in the field, I do not know! I have heard that the overburden has been a problem. They're trying to get the winter targets near the current base-camp done first (deadlines), but I don't know how much luck they're having with these. It could be that they'll choose to re-locate their driller's base camp to start drilling some of the higher targets (ie, the company described "plateau" targets) in the area, since I've heard that they have not yet drilled any of these (tho I thought they had, at least one...)--
I do know the sharepr. has backed off (calmed). -We have to wait for MEO/RDW's progress report, which should come within a couple weeks (seems like I heard that 2weeks ago! :) ).
As has been pointed out on this thread, we should prudently assume that Montello has not as yet hit anything of substance. But that's the calculated risk already factored in here right? ;) Realistically, Patrick Power may have flown to the site for a decision process, such as where to move the drill next, or perhaps another reason. It is not publicly available information as yet. I know what I'd like to think, but I'm learning to tame those thoughts down! <g>
