Bonnie: DON'T FOLLOW BROKERAGES...................... My last firm was Shearson (now Smith Barney). Have never liked the big wire houses much. Very inefficient, though better than in my era. The shorts in BSC might be "against the box" BWDIK. If I were going to play these - I think I'd make up an index of the leaders, incl. "We the People" then track others like A.G. Edwards, Hambrecht, etc. versus the "index" on a relative strength basis....trying to buy the very strongest on minor dips. The business is really changing, as you know. (I opened a Discover on-line acct. a few days ago...owned by Morgan/Dean Witter.... but, I can't take a check to local DW to put in my account!?!) Wish you LOL Don
